from what I can gather on line searches:

rms power @ 4 ohms is roughly 37w by 4 ch

rms power @ 2 ohms is roughly 50w by 4 ch

rms power @ 4 ohms is roughly 100w by 2 ch bridged mode

im hoping those specs are rated at like 12v instead of 14.4 but its old

so maby its under rated a little.

does the board look decent enough ? also no external fuses ???

i'd say its a good 12 to 15 years old. I remember them being considered nice amps back in the day although the guts don't look like anything special. I like how the power supply board is completely seperate from the output board. I would think it would be capable of 50 rms a channel. I'd fuse it at 20 or 25 amps. I like this amp just because shes old school

I have it's big fan colled brother The JBL GTQ400 in my workshop (75 x 4 or 200 x 2). That series of amps did indeed come from the early 90's and was built tough. They sound really nice and run fairly cool. The downside is the limited adjustment of the crossover. Off/on. If you have seperate processing, it shouldn't be an issue.
