Okay, Bad Experience

Yeah. See the title. I have an 03 cavalier z24, and I've done some pretty decent body work to it. So I figured may as well get a system, got 6 bose speakers in it, along with two little tweeters and a nice aftermarket head unit. Not enough for me though, so I get an MA audio sub (700rms bridged, 350x2) and 2 10" BASS subs. Wired them the non-bridged way, worked fine. Tried to bridge them today, that sounded horrible. Un-did that and wired it the old way. Still sounds aweful. So something broke. I think? should i just trash the subs and look for a new amp, or visa versa, or just get a whole new system? and if I should get a new system, can someone recommend something for not a ridiculous amount? I mean i got my amp for 70 bucks and my subs for 2 cents + shipping off of ebay and it sounded really good until i tried to make it better. Any help would be amazing.

well, you probably just rewired wrong, but those sound like off brand subs anyways. get a nice sub/amp, IMO
Well, I would see why you would think that, but the subs are only single voice coil and the amp is a 2 channel so even my stupidity can do that right. And they still are loud, but there is no deep bass at all left. It just goes all high and kinda turns up lows to highs, but the filter is on the low pass where it's always been.

They didnt make an 03 Z24
I have to agree with scrapping it..

Technically no. But, we got a 2.4 motor that my uncle who is a mechanic customized out of a different vehicle, got some nice rims, threw on a body kit, did work to the interior, and figured we made our own version so i got 2 of the z24 side logo's and put them on.

did you accidently hit a filter on the amp?
don't believe so, but even if i did change one of those i have the one switch on lpf which is supposed to be for subs and not take into account where i have those at, i thought. the subs just seem to have lost some range or something, and they make some odd noises now and then that i never heard before when the volume is down. idk if my amp is still ok or not.

Can I just ask why....Why would you take out the Eco...and swap in the old 2.4? Makes no sense...

Honestly, look at what you paid for the sub...i mean how much do you expect out of them...
