the q 18 will not be louder than a btl 18 unless your feeding it major wattage. if u can find a used dd 95 with still enough money to get a decent amp id say thas good too. 95s are expensive tho, and you should give it ALOT of power.

anothing thing, if your basing your sub and amp choice based on whats gonna beat your friends... thats pretty lame. get whatever makes you happy, u dont have to prove anything to no one.

It would help if you told us what kind of vehicle you are using? how much space you have? And what is the big deal about this 18" BTL?

when i was running my old 2 12 mt's i put up better numbers than a guy running 6 15s.

bigger and more subs doesnt always equal louder.
