^^^^Dayton RS-180's also for sale, used maybe 3 months and in great condition, $65 shipped.

How do those live wire subs sound? How would you classify theses subs, are they sub par, entry level, mid level or top of the line? I am looking for a pair of subs for my lil bro to put in his escort. Also are those dayton's 8ohm or 4ohm? Also could I take those Dayton's and use them with a passive crossover with a pair of tweeters?

The Livewire's aren't great SQ subs, but they get loud and sound good for what they're going to cost you. You can't find another pair of 12's for this price that isn't total garbage...

The Dayton's are 4ohm speakers. You can use them with passive crossovers, just be sure that the crossover is designed for a 4ohm woofer(most are designed for 8 ohm woofers).
