That's what I'm sayin'... And to think I drove to Ohio & paid $540 for Ng's working 18" Destroyer, only to rip it apart to recone it to match the other I was making. And I paid $385 for a Destroyer motor and 15" basket that was misaligned before it was sent. David on the other hand did hook me up on the whole reconing process... even though that **** 18" basket is permanently affixed to one motor. I was able to clean that paint off safely though, luckily. After all that, & $200 for shipping, they ended up safely in my hands... or so i thought. I just don't understand these beasts.Good Luck.

Ok, well i was under the impression it was you personally building them. I do know you hooked me up on the recone costs. I was actually really thankful and appreciated everything you went out of your way for. I don't blame this on you at all. I hope it isn't much of an issue. I'll take some pics of both and post them here in a min. I'll prolly call you monday and talk to ya. I'm just hoping not to have to recone both again if you know what I mean.First of all... DAVID didn't build them for you. RE Audio did. David was, however, nice enough to NOT charge you the super inflated recone cost that should have been associated with doing them. Surely you remember how far out of my way I went for you with these things!? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I don't mean to be defensive here, but It just seems that I'm somehow under attack because your sub broke.
Secondly... The subs were both fully tested before being shipped to you. If there is some sort of rubbing noise then something MUST have gotten into the gap. It may or may not even be an issue. Most times things like that just fall right out without any issues. I'd suggest to look further into that situation before calling it "messed up" or "bad".
As for the sub with the damaged leads... hows about you contact us, maybe send some pics of what happened, and we can go from there. CarAudio.com isn't a place to hash out issues, so I'll refrain from giving you any further instruction on the situation until someone from RE has actually spoken to you. Try calling and asking for me 702-575-2010 9-5 Mon-Fri.
