I don't mean to be defensive here, but It just seems that I'm somehow under attack because your sub broke.
Secondly... The subs were both fully tested before being shipped to you. If there is some sort of rubbing noise then something MUST have gotten into the gap. It may or may not even be an issue. Most times things like that just fall right out without any issues. I'd suggest to look further into that situation before calling it "messed up" or "bad".
As for the sub with the damaged leads... hows about you contact us, maybe send some pics of what happened, and we can go from there. CarAudio.com isn't a place to hash out issues, so I'll refrain from giving you any further instruction on the situation until someone from RE has actually spoken to you.
