I need something temp. Cant afford a High Output Alt & Battery BUT the dimming and fuel injector issues when the bass hits are kind of annoying. Need to put cash into getting car running right before I fool with increasing the cars power output. Would a Cap solve this problem for now?

Yea ok do the Big 3...BUT its just a 1500 watt system. The cables are 4 gauge...increasing it to 0 might make the dimming worse since the power probably just isnt their.

So yea...what brand of Cap would be better? Plan on getting a 250 amp alt+a couple good batteries before I upgrade to 3k watts for subs and 800 for comps...BUT just for 1500 watts...I just need something temp. Hoping I can say that enough so I might get serious replies lol. If you can sell me a 250 amp alt and a couple batteries for 200 shipped then ok...BUT yea just want a Cap atm.

Yea could just keep the system turned off until I can get a alt and crap...BUT it about killed me keeping the stuff in a closet for a couple weeks before finally hooking it up. I just cant go through that again lmao.

Somewhere I read upgrading the wire gauge will make stuff want to draw more power...and if the power isnt their to be drawn then it just makes it worse...

Think of it like a hose with water running through it. the smaller the hose the less water can go through at a certain amount of time. the bigger the hose...well you get the idea.

imagine the power wire as a straw. the beverage is the battery. and the drink is the current. now imagine trying to drink through a coffee stirrer then switch it to a wendy's straw. which is easier?

now with that said it makes it easier for the battery to get its power if the wire is bigger it's pulling the same amount of power. but getting it much easier.

You should probably learn what you are talking about before you post.

Having "too big" of wire isn't going to hurt the electrical performance of anything.

You don't need a HO alt. At all. You should be more than fine with the big three and a good battery under the hood. If not, you can add a small battery to the rear. 1mtx1 is selling a HC1200 for cheap.

Yeah, you could do half assed and maybe it'll work...BUT you could also do it the right way the first time and not have to go through that again.

how in the hell is using 10 amps to keep the battery charged up while the battery displaces 100's of amp in exchange taxing his alt? are u that stupid really? it is 1500 watts dumbass learn to fking read and go get some knowledge lol
