Ok I finally made my decision

Im going to get the profile ca1200 watt amp instead of the 1600watt sony one. Someone said they can find the proflie for $150 ..ya gotta link?

Also when I buy my kicker compvr 12's should i get them in 2 ohm or 4 ohms.

What the differnce between getting them 2ohm or 4ohm does it matter?

And I cant get it off ebay because im banned from there. I cant say why the case is still pending. Is there another place that has that amp for $150 I want it new.

the ohm load matter becasue that amp puts the most power out at 2ohm. ike sound has it for 175 or so but they are kinda shadey. have a friend buy it off ebay or something, or js get it used from the first link.

I wish I could find a place that has the kickers for $80 each and the ca1200 amp for $150 so I can buy it all at once.

he wants dual 2 ohms if he is running 2 subs. 2 subs with 4 ohm dvc run in series is 4 ohms, run in parrallel is 1 ohm. 2 subs with 2 ohm dvc run in series would be a 2 ohm load which is what you would want with that amp. 2 subs in single 2 ohm would be a 1 ohm load.

by the way ikesound is a great place to deal with. i don't understand why you think they are shady. i think it's a more shady deal buying from some stranger off ebay than ikesound

What the **** are you talking about........Dont listen to this guy or the other guy...you want DUAL 4ohm subs. Wire them to 2ohms each and then to 4ohms so the AMP IS BRIDGED and you can get full power from it....jesh.....if you dont know somthing dont post it and confuse the poor kid.

I think either of the ohm loads will work, it just depends on how you wire them. I personally would go with dual 4 ohm so you could wire them in parrallel to 2 ohms each and just run two channels instead of just one or you could wire them in one channel but wire them in series so they would still be gettin the same power.

I have used Ikesound before and they sent the stuff on time and I had no problems.

whats more confusing for him, i told him the exact thing to get. then u tell not to listen to me but to get what i said? and whats harder than getting Single2ohm subs and hookin each one up to its own channle?

i say get two 4 ohm dual voice coil subs and wire them to 4 ohms bridged so you can have the amps full power and give the subs there 450rms
