Ok box gurus, I need help!

Ok I'm about to get a box built at the local install shop. I need to know what size and tune to tell him.

Subs- 4 alpine type r 12's

amp- crescendo audio 3000

vehicle- 1994 ford explorer 4 door

I want it to get loud,low,deep and sound decent. I listen to all types of music. Mainly rap or anything with alot of bass.

Depends on where you go and what all gets done as far as finishing(carpet/paint/plexi)...this is a $500+ box from Car Toys with nothing fancy.

If I were to do something this size for a local, and leave it bare, it'd be about $175-200.

Local audio shops will almost always charge an insane amount. If you wouldn't mind paying shipping that box can be built for what Ryan suggested.

If they're building you a box shouldn't they be able to design it as well? I'd be pretty skeptical about a shop if they don't know how to design an enclosure...
