Well, since it's already depleted 70% of the oxygen in the regions it's affected it's killed most of the wildlife. I don't personally care about wildlife, but that plays havoc with the economy in the gulf.

Also, models show that if it isn't stopped within a reasonable amount of time it has the ability to initiate another ice age. Some specialists have argued that it's already too late, but I'm sure that's a load of crap.

You may not care now, but you might in the near future.

All that being said, I say we do more offshore drilling.
