i buy tankers full of gas 2 or 3 time a week! and if you think a gas station is make 2k off a tanker of gas you gotta be kidding.
thats about the average a gas station will profit from one load of gass say an average load will be 6000 gallons they have a profit margin of 3 cents per gallon wich is above average they will profit 2000 of of that load of gas ...
ill tell you at my dads gas station we do not make that much at all. maybe on the 10k load we are making a penny per gallon. with the competition these days were actually loosing. but i don't know how it is in your state.
thats where the 3 cents per gallon is above average cam in .... a gas stations profit on gas in slim to none ... gas stations here in my small town usally get all there gas from the same place .. so there profits remain equal ... and here it is 3 cents per gallon

well i have a couple friends that own convenience stores that sell gas so i have a understanding of the inner working ... and gas in not what any of them make there money off of its just there to get customers in the store ...

LoL if only you would have known back then and invested all you could into these oil companies you would be RICH!I remember when my Popps had a gas station back in 1970,the gas was as follows: 17.9/10 for 85 Oct./19.9/10 for 87 Oct. and 19.9/19 for 89 Oct.I had a 1966 GTO.I used to cost me approx. $5.00-$6.00 to fill it/:veryhapp:/
