Oil FTW

ya funny thing is i watch the gas 24/7 (price per barrel of oil) and i see it going down all the time yet it was 3.85 locally yesterday

went by today..

3.92.

the price went up..while oil was going down.. and yes they already knew the hurricane was not going to strike..

it really pisses me off how it drops a few dollars and takes about a week to get the effect of the 5 cents

but if price per barrel goes up a dollar you will see it raised almost immediately.

your right the Oil Industry is ****ed up we where at the same PPB 2 years go and gas was a bit less than 3.00/gal.. it seems the Oil Industry is quick to jack the prices up to fill there pockets and VERY reluctant to drop them... ( i mean why should they America will pay whatever they ask for gas and even buy more .. since 2000 the gas consumption in the US has went up by a substantial margin .. no matter how much they charge for a gallon of gas ..)

i was watching cspan and some dipshit was going on about how we need to deregulate everything so we can drill it all because its a matter of supply and demand.

no. its not a matter of supply and demand. if only it was that simple.

The gas that is in the ground at the stations was purchased when it was at the inflated price so you will see a slower decline in cost at the pump.

I got mine for $3.24 today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

this is true but if Oil goes up the price will go up (i know) here in my town is on i-55 north of new orleans Oil went up substantially in the week that gutav was making it way through the gulf as soon as it did every gas station within a hundred miles jacked there prices .45 cent .45 cents for christ sakes it the same gas they got before the price hiked ... there is no explination on how the Oil.Gas industry works .. and never will

They anticipated a surge of people buying gas ahead of the hike in price.
