At what ohms could you amplify 8ohm subs at.

And which mono amp would work with 2 rockford fosgate 10 xlc's. older subs

10" Punch Power Woofer.

Giant 3" high temperature voice coil.

Black anodized aluminum formers.

SantopreneTM Rubber surrounds.

Spruce Pulp Paper cones.

Massive motors.

Aerodynamic vent.

Cast aluminum frame.

8 Ohm Nominal Impedence.

Power Handling

300 Watts RMS/600 Watts Peak.

88.2 dB Sensitivity.

3 Inch Voice Coil Diameter.

4-7/8 Inch (12.38 cm) Mounting Depth.

Which mono amp would work best for 2 of these at about $200

Not necessarily, some amps will not cut in half/double when ohms are halved or doubled.

But yeah about a 600 watt mono amp will do

and for 200 bucks, I would search for a hifonics on ebay

great bang for the buck

Very few amps put out the same at 4 ohms as they do at 8 ohms....etc. And I mean VERY few. I think he would be safe getting a big 2 channel amp that is bridgeable. I wouldn't get a mono because most of them don't put out much at 4ohms. Most mono amps put out their potential on a 2 ohm load.

Can u give me a link to an amp that will work well. I really dont need info on what works and what doesnt i just need an amp i could use for them at there fullest. Like a link to a website or somethin.

Im askin for a link because i just got into car audio and dont kno anything about amps.

Those would work but don't think you ABSOLUTELY have to limit yourself to 300 watts RMS. I'm sure those woofers will handle more than 300 watts. I would try to stay at 500 or less watts per sub though. My subs were rated at 300 RMS but I was giving them 600 each and they never had a problem.

I'll do some looking and see what I can find.

Well there not new there really old and somebody sold them to him for real cheap so i was thinkin givin them the power that they need and if they blow because the amp was to strong then it would probably be my fault for tellin him to get somethin that strong. Ive been lookin at this one though and it looks pretty good and all. Would it work.
