Would this work?

What are you looking at?
If i took a 4 channel amp, used a y connector to splice my rear preouts into 4 outputs to hook it up to the amp, then ran the front chgannel to 1 coil of my sub, and the rear to the other coil? i would think it would be fine cause each coil gets the same signal and power, but wanted to make sure before investing my money.

thanks.

I think your gains would have to be matched almost perfectly for this to work. Not sure though.
they would be set as close as physically possible with a dmm. that is one of the concerns i had ,and one reason why i asked this question. thanks for the reply.

anyone else have anything to add?

bump, anyone else have anything to add on why this would or not be a good idea? it would only be for a couple months till i get the matching mono amp.

the 4channel in question is the jbl gto75.4ll .
