So I see they make a 2 ohm and a 4 ohm type are. my question is can I run the 4 ohm at 2? I know I cant run the 2 at 4.

You can run a dual 2ohm at 1 or 4ohm and you can run a dual 4ohm at 8 or 2ohm.

If the subwoofer is a single voice coil 4 ohm woofer then you can only run it at 4 ohms. If your amp is 2 ohm stable get the 2 ohm sinlge voice coil type arhh. If the subwoofer is a dual voice coil subwoofer than get the dual 4 ohm coil subwoofer
