Ohm question

My M6 with the coils wired parallel show a nominal reading of 2.098xxx or something close to that. Rarely (if ever) will any sub's voice coil(s) be the exact resistance it is rated for when measured on a DMM. After taking impendence rise into account while in use things change even more.

You ought to be perfectly safe.

Keep in mind their rated nominal impedance, and it's resistence are two different things. What you are measuring with the DMM is called the DCR. A sub's rated nominal impedance, or the 8ohm rating, is kinda like the average of what the sub's impedance is over the entire bandwidth, since impedance will fluctuate with frequency and such.
