ohm load?

I currently have a pioneer gm-x862 amplifier, and I am looking into buying either two 10" mtx jackhammers or two 10" kicker cvr. How do I know how many ohms I need? Do both of my subs need to be 4 ohm or what?

ok that amp it tiny but u want either single 4 ohm voice coils to get the load to 2 ohm, or one sub with duel 4 ohm to get 2 ohm, or 1 sub with single voice coil 4 ohm

your only getting 200 watts at 2 ohm so neither would work, scrap the amp or

I am probably goin to upgrade the amp in the future anyways so would the kicker that you showed for me to get work? Would I actually hear bass from it? Currently I have a fosgate p3 with a max of 800watts running on a 300 watt amp so how is it working when a 720 watt amp can't run two tens?

And my friend has a 500 watt amp powering 2 12" jackhammers and they hit hard so surely mine will work.

I never said I had a 150 watt amp I just gave the product code or whatever, but that's besides the point would a 760 watt pioneer amp power two jackhammers?

Yes but that is rated watts what rly matters is rms, it only puts out 200 rms at 2 ohms

max power means nothing, its a gimmick companies use especially mainstream companies like pioneer

dude how much u looking to spend ditch the amp tell us what u want and since obv ur firend no nothing we will have u the best system out of everyone easily for cheap
