Ohm Load Problem Help Please!!!

Oh yea and one more question, what is the difference if i hook my subs up too a 1000 watt rms amp lets say perhaps a (MA Audio amp).

or if i hook them up to say an expensive jl/audio/1000.1 1000 watt rms amp?

will my bass hit harder on the jlaudio just becuz its a better brand? is it worth the extra money?

good lord do your homework, man, and read up on this hobbie a bit. theres plenty of info on the net and this site alone.

1000 total watts = 500 to each sub

Will make no diff if it's a JL or any other brand that does real rated power of 1000RMS. Although the salesman will probably tell you the JL will hit harder, their wire carries more current, etc...

As mentioned above, spend some time reading/learning, so you can make well informed decisions/purchases and don't get screwed over.

grr, i dunno who to believe, i read up on a forum that u can hook multiple subs to a mono amp and get that rated power out of each sub if wired right and the ohms are compatable.......

Let me just say that your last question is debated all day long on this and other forums...you have to look at the total picture...price is just one factor....brand/reputation is another...price vs features etc...it helps if you know what you are trying to acheive beforehand...research...don't buy it without knowing what your getting...

I'd look into the sundown 1500.1, there is one in the classifieds for 350
Edit: It is a lot cheaper than the 1000.1
lol yea but l7's are only 1000 watt rms....im afraid to run them at 1500 lol...how much is the sundown?

and does anyone else have any comments on the ohm problem with mono amps?

i cant understand why i found an ma audio amp for 130 bucks new...with warrenty with a rated 1000 watts rms

but kicker sell the same thing for like 360.....why?

is the ma audio amp not really 1000 watts?
