I have 4 brand new never used IXL 12" v2 Subs. Dual 1 ported version. These subs have the large flat black dust cap that covers the entire cone. A special order Mark(mrogowski) made. He built 24. He originally rated them at 500 watts rms because of the dustcap. After testing this is what he said...

Murilo and I did some pretty serious power testing with one the other day and my concerns about the large dust cap and high power was unfounded. Sub took 800 watts like a champ; 1200 watts for quite awhile too. The dust cap didn't come off until we did a short 4kw burp.

they are very close to what you see on the website - only difference is the added weight of the larger dust cap.
