offroad tire

not for any serious offroad use or anytyhing but more for the occasoinal play in the mud

i dont really like bfg a/t or i'd just buy those

im looking more for something else

ride noise isnt a huge concern but i dont want super loud tires, and size would be no b igger then 285x?x16

my dad bought some Maxxis Buckshot Mudders that i ended putting on my truck...they're pretty good, you can stud em, and they're pretty cheap. might check those out

are you running any lift, aftermarket rim, what do you ahve now? i am a huge 4x4 guy. i have a 05 silverado ext cab with about 7-8" on it.

Dick Cepek, Micky Thompson's, Toyo also has an off-road tire.

the nitto mud grappler is the best tire out there right now. balance and wear is beautiful. it is also a great looking tire in person. i run the bfg muds (35x12.50x17) and so does my dad. they are a good tire. i am going to go to the nitto muds though in about a month or two. the only other tire i would consider is the interco iroks. as for an all terrain, pro comp has a decent one, nitto makes a great one, bf makes a great one, and interco has one as well (traxus).

i'm a huge offroad fan as well, just don't have the funds to really get into the hobby!

but nitto makes some kickass tires, and so does mt. i saw these new nitto tires in this magizine i got recently, the dune grapplers; the tread looks insane

Micky Thompsons are garbage. the dune grappler isnt a good tire at all for the street.

stock 16s on a 2000 tahoe

i saw those coopper stt's eralier and kinda like them, and bri487 not sure what would be better for me. i'd assume a/t as a daily driver but if m/t work then i guess it doesnt really matter. what i really wanted was the bridgestone dueler m/t, but i guess they dont make those anymore
