Wtf do you mean, exploring their interests? If they want to graduate College, stay in school and graduate. Don't blame it on the school. What are, "typical attributes of a woman" that you speak of? 63% graduation rate for women and 57% for men. You think women 20-40 make more than a man for the same exact job? I highly doubt that.
Not only do they make more money they're picked over their male counterparts even when they may not have the higher level qualifications. It's pure sexism and turning young men into resentful members of society. It's one of the major driving factors in the male ******* epidemic that you'll never see a "feminist" who proclaims equality so loudly speak of.

If these guys hiring employees have a choice between some dude or a good looking woman. You know the man is going to hire the woman. Call it sexist, if you wish, but it's genetics. I still don't know where you are getting your facts from as far as men making less for the same job.

You're missing the point. Affirmative action and diversity hires are pushed by HR.

Your assumption that men will hire a good looking woman are for the most part incorrect and sexist. I hire based on performance and qualifications. I could give a shit whether or not you're good looking. Of course some managers aren't that way, but the vast majority of good managers will hire based on those two factors among other things until someone in corporate steps in and starts writing #1 on resumes that they hand to you because they're either 1) female or 2) not white

Your perception of reality is skewed.

If a guy kills himself over not getting a job, then, that's on him. I bet a woman in a labor field would be paid higher than a man. Show me all the woman welders and steel workers out there making more than their male counterparts. Show me t HG e studies of the male ******* epidemic because a woman got hired over him. If they have equal resumes, then, it is the choice of the company hiring at the time. I can already tell, equal to you means that the man gets hired. Welcome to 2020, those days are over. Believe it, or not, some men are actually stay at home Dads. The wife is the, "bread winner."

i own a construction labor company and have a hard time keeping women employed. The ones that do come on have a hard time staying long. When we do a cleanup of multi-floor buildings we often have to use scaffolding, lifts and a lot of heavy lifting. We do drops from ropes to cleanup outside glass, etc. In 20 years, I have yet to see a woman who will do the high drops, but I pay the same for men and women regardless. In my line of work, bottom line, a man is worth more money than a woman, but in this politically charged environment I can’t pay wages based on this. On paper, my company would look like a company with sexist hiring practices, but that just isn’t so. If I were to treat men and women equal, I would either have a lot of injured women or subpar work being done. These are the types of specifics politicians and activists don’t see, or don’t care to see. Simply looking at a gender pay gap is deceiving many times.

You're behind by about 40-50 years. For the third time, instead of repeating talking points, do research with an open mind from all angles.

The same thing goes on the other side of the equation. 80% of nurses are women and they often excel when compared to men. Of course, there are outliers, but the facts remain the same.

How many women do you see advocating for a female draft? Working on oil rigs? Honestly, how many men do you see advocating for those things? Not many. It's all so obvious yet people are blinded by emotion and propaganda telling them that there has to be "equality" regardless of the cost.

There are several more regarding the Pay Gap Myth. Along the same lines here is a great one about male disposability:

Oh and Trump will win 2020 in a landslide. Whatever the liberal talking points against Trump, they always fall back on "Orange man bad" and have no substance behind them. The fake Russia collusion, the impeachment passed with no legal standand of actual LAW broken. (Unlike Clinton/Nixon) I've seen more Democrats become Independent/Libertarian or even Republican in the last 3 years over the number of temper tantrums the democrats have had than I've ever seen before. The economy is booming, most of us have more money in our pockets as a result, he's holding a higher approval rating than Obama had at the same time in his first term according to Rasmussen.

Btw I voted for Obama in 08, went Libertarian with Ron Paul in 2012 (didn't vote), voted Gary Johnson as a protest vote in 2016 and now fully on board for Trump in 2020 after watching the BS the Democrats who loved him 4+ years ago have done to him since he was voted in.

And, how do you suggest fixing the hiring process. A person could have a killer resume, but a terrible interview. The next person has a decent resume, but a great interview. Who do you hire? If you just want a resume battle, then, you choose the great resume. But, you have to take everything into account before hiring someone. I think, for the most part, hiring practices and wage equality, are pretty good these days.

I'd like to think we get a libertarian president in 2024, but I know that's a stretch.

When did I say the resume is the single source of determining someone's fit in a job? If anything, that's one of the least important things. It's a piece of paper that lists reasons, it's not a reason by itself.

You're avoiding rebutting my point directly due to your bias even though you admit women don't make less money than men.

It would be great if the American political system could split up into just a few more viable political parties. We have four parties but only two of them are relevant in any State or Federal election. Its exactly the sort of problem the Democrats are facing right now with the radical wing of their party. AOC, Ilhan, Bernie and Warren are all very far left socialists, and it has split the party in half. Moderate Democrats vs Socialists, except the socialists don't have any other viable party to use for elections so now it looks like they're trying to take over the Democrat party from within. Pushing the Democrats that much further to the left and alienating them from your average Democratic voter. Which only solidifies a Trump re-election in 2020.

I think the biggest wage discrimination is between office workers and people who labor, in my opinion. I see guys working in 105 degree heat for 1/3 what the person sitting in the office air conditioner makes. The old saying is true....skilled labor is hard to find, because all the idiots are promoted to management.

While I agree in spirit I think the disparity is mostly found in skilled vs unskilled labor. Most of the skilled labor in my area make as much if not more than many in office level or management work. It all really depends on which trade you're working in though. There is such a shortage of good skilled trade in California plumbers and electricians can charge $100 an hour plus materials.
