That's how it's always worked in any of these games.

I couldn't remember so I spied him again. Didn't get the defense this time, but last time, if I remember right, it was in the 3k range. And I'm not going to keep spending 20k to find out.

what lvl are you and what lvl is he? if his defense is over 6000 then your first hit would do nothing and his would hit you . Plus from what I hear nerve has something to do with it to when being attacked Im not sure tho

I'm a 15 and he's a 20. His defense is around 3000+. My first hit hits him. I beaten higher levels than him plenty of times so far.

well then you either more strength so you can kill him the first hit, or defense so you kill him the second.

I think at lvl 20 my strength and defense were around 15k a piece.
