Official Re Group Buy Interest Thread!!!

i just checked my email and nothing yet... but they

just opened i think around 9am california time...

i know RE usually takes their time with emails... hopefully

since this one is such a big deal we will hear something

soon...

matt did you hear anything else yet...

oh... effendi... i dont "need" cheap subs... i just "want" some

more RE stuff to try... and since this board is all about RE its been

easy to put together interest for a group buy... probably easier

than for any other companies products... so why shouldnt we all

be able to get a deal...

i hope they window falls from right before christmas til the middle

of january or so... thatll mean everyone who wants stuff FOR

christmas can get it and everyone who wants stuff AFTER christmas

with their christmas $$$ and such can get theirs then...

maybe if we all crossed our fingers...

Hehe....well, it's a big deal to you, but I'm sure they have their own "big deals" to work on around the shop and things that need taken care of ASAP. Like someone else said earlier...take the total number of "I'm in's" you've received, divide that number by 2 (and maybe even 3), and that's the actual number of sales that will come out of this.

For quickest response time and easier communication of how this thing is going to work, it definitely is going to require a phone call IMO.

plus today is monday and the backlog from the weekend

makes for a busy day im sure... no need to rush things

Sorry I didn't read the whole thing, but, how possible is this 50% off idea? And is that 50% off direct pricing?????? If it is, holy crap, get that going and I will DEFINATELY buy something.

the 50% was brought up by matt based on a previous group

buy done with car audio and RE... sure its what we are all

pulling for but nothing is set in stone... we are still working

towards getting the group buy to go through at all...

The 50% came from the previous group buy thread that was for a single product (RE 8's) that they had a lot of stock in. It was so long ago that they were able to do it back then. There is no way now that they will be able to take all products down to 50% even a single product.

P.S. If they were to do a group buy on ONE item it would only be available for people without dealers within a set number radius from there zip code. Which is probably more then 3/4 of you. The order would be void.

of a near proximity radius from nevada...

Nono, you misunderstood him. He meant those people that dont have an RE dealer anywhere near them.
