Main reason im jumping in is because I am really interested in alot of RE products 4 12"s XXX's and amps. The bigger reason is that I won't buy unless we can successfully get 50% off. All I ever do is negotiate deals all day so… That’s why I jumped in. And the RE Group buy thread I posted in was brought up and thats where Geoff got the idea to post a thread about it. 50% off RE products lets all be happy... when we get it

If this is true then you should just stay away from negotiations because it might ruin our chances of getting anything close to that range. seriously....how did you come up with the conclusion that we would get 50% off? I dont see anyone mentioning 50% off but you... if you are gonna say that people who have organized a group buy with RE before, got 50% off then get them to post on this thread that this to show that it is actually true...If you can do that then i'll trust you to do the negotiations but if not then please just stay away....you can ruin things for everyone else because I dont think you are actually committed to getting us good deals because I dont think that 50% is realistic..well..unless you prove that it has been done before....

man let the man negotiate. they arent going to be like 50%? I dont think anyone arguing about anyones intentions is going to help any of us. Frankly, this flaming is all for naught.

I would personally like to give an official Pimp Slap (supa_c approved) to all you who dont understand the art of negotiating.

Also I would personally like to commend Matt for his obvious positive support of the group buy, no to mention Geoffrey who just needs some cheap subs. You all read from Geoffrey himself, he doesnt really care what the deal is. Niether do I. Whoever hears back from RE first, is whoever is going to spearhead this GB.

As far as Matt's list. Well you dont negotiate without putting something on the table, in this case, its Matt's list of potential sales leads. Anyone who knows anything about e-business knows how valuable leads are. If you are concerned about your privacy, if you cant handle giving out your information, something so trivial as your name and address (do you people ever order pizza, its the same thing, except they have your credit card number and you trust them?!!) well you have no place buying from an online-based company anyway.

If you are really worried about Matt's intentions, I invite you to wait and see what hapens.
