got my re12s, on the voice coil, how do you tell negative from positve? does it matter?

if they are like a lot of speakers, the bigger terminal is pos and the smaller is neg, if not, left is usually neg and right is pos (at least everything I have is)

doesnt really matter, try it both ways and see what sounds better to you

EDIT: i guess you have re12S so yes, you need to figure that out for seriesing/paralleling

Use a 1.5v AA battery.

link + to one, - to another. If the cone moves up, the + that the battis linked to is positive. If it moves down, it's negative.
