OK before I get started. Ya I know, I used particle board. I have like 3 sheets lying around in my garage so I thought hay, why let go to waste. So I snatched em up and began cutting. The boxes specs are 16 deep 16 tall and 36 wide. It has a 4.5 inch wide port and is tuned at 40 hzz. Box is 3 cubes I believe.( I know, kinda small but im in a Camry so cut me some slack.)

Is it gunna be carpeted? Besides the fugly factor, looks pretty good. U didnt say whats going in ittttt:

Well yes sir it will be carpeted. I did use glue on the baffles but the sides and tops and back is just basically in mock up stage right now. I shall be putting in a 15" rd audio elite spl woofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I know mane. Didn't have the money to pick up a sheet or two at the moment and this has been in the garage floor since as long as I can remember.So I just thought I would use some of it up.

Get some full on bracing on the inside and you should be fine.

Try to stay around 4" to 6" away from the edge to keep from splitting the wood. Also predrill first

yea, but use dowels and it wont add up to anything signifacent

Wouldnt fiber glassin the inside take the importance away of which wood was used? Still resonate at the same frequency correct?

Well, looks at this way, if the box sounds like shit.

This experience was good practice, and the next box, hopefully outta mdf, will be better than this one.(not saying this one is bad)
