***Official 2009-10 NFL THREAD***

Please take out the Colts...I like the Chargers chances a lot better against the Ravens than the Colts.I think the top 2 teams in the NFC are going to fall next week too.

GO CHARGERS!
You scared:D jk

Colts by 10 in indy saturday, atleast I hope.. I think it will be a good game, then 4th quarter, indy starts to dominate. If Indy jumps out to a quick lead, I think the game could get ugly. We will see though.

Go colts!!

Btw jets fans, dont get to excited.. Jets are the worst team left in the playoffs, and they will get steam rolled by the chargers.

Chargers get lucky and get an easy playoff game against the jets.. Go figure.

Go jets?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Maybe miracles can happen:laugh:

umm dont be so sure that the Chargers are gonna roll over the Jets..

the Chargers ranked 20th against the run in the regular season and the Jets have the #1 rushing attack in the league

also the Jets D is ranked #1, and when Revis shuts down Vincent who is Rivers got besides Gates?

its not that easy of a game

Im just basing it off what the colts were doing until they pulled the starters in the second half. Jets were getting exposed, and I think the chargers will do so aswell. With that said, I would rather play the jets, than the chargers. So I will be pulling for the jets, but I know I will be let down. Honestly, I dont think it will even be close, but hopefully Im wrong.

Just forgot how much depth the colts have at reciever, so even if you shut one or 2 down, there is more. HOpefully this is good news for the jets to shut down the chargers, but I still dont have a good feeling about it...

thats true but i think the jets will win as long as Mark limits his mistakes and they run effectively
Mark will have to have a limited role for the jets to win. They cant win with him throwing 30+ times this week. They need about 150+ rushing to consider getting the job done imo.

lol, I'd just rather play the Ravens. We don't have the same kind of pass rush we've had in the past to force Peyton into mistakes, although Merrimen and Phillips should finally be 100% along with a few DL having not played the last 2 weeks.

I think a lot of people have been getting sucked up into the swagger that Ryan has and their "streak". All of a sudden everyone forgot that the Chargers haven't lost since the beginning of october. Revis and Jackson are the big story and I know that if they cover him one on one w/ no safety help, Rivers WILL try and throw it down field to let Jackson make a play on it. I don't think Jackson will have a huge game but he won't get muscled on the line and if he only makes one down field catch or if Rivers throws it down field to him a few times, the jets are going to respect that and start bringing safety help which will either free up Floyd one on one on the left side (same avg. per catch as Jackson) and I'll take that match up all day. Gates needs double coverage, Nannee, Sproles, Tolbert, and Tomlinson all run short routes that become big catch and runs when blitzed, which the jets do a lot. On the defensive side, like stated above phillips and merrimen have been hurt all season and now they're finally almost 100%. Merrimen doesn't have the sack stats like before but nobody's ran to his side and he has the most QB hurries in the league this year, so he's definately still a playmaker. Chargers I think have the least or close to the least amount of 20yrd. plays on them this season, so they know to keep everything in front of them, there definately won't be any long runs (20+) on them in this game and Sanchez won't be able to turn his little screens and dumpoffs into big plays. Chargers can get beat deep though although our corners do a pretty good job covering, but it has happened a few times this year (Cromartis side). If the Chargers get the first score pretty quickly the Jets will have no shot to play catch up. This game kind of reminds me of the Titans game, they have a good defense, CJ had like 140yrds, and they had a better QB and we still won by like 30pts.

My prediction is 24-10 and I think the Cardinals and Cowboys upset the Saints and Vikings and I'm hoping the Ravens win but it probably won't happen. Any Jets fans wanna put $10 on this game?

I took the top 4 seeds to win this weekend... I still think the Colts v Ravens game could be awesome if Ray Rice / McGahee can continue to pound the rock. You can't miss the Cards v Saints game if you're an NFL fan, could be legendary type scoring.
