yea, flagrant, but not on the basis of intent, unnecessary sure but that is only because of the force Shaq vs. Stuckey, I mean on any playing field Stuckey will get hurt...it should be reduced to a flagrant 1, and it probably will be once Nunn and Jackson review it. His arms we're up when he leaped in the direction of Stuckey, he didn't attack the head, neck or body, his hands are moving in the direction of the ball which shows intention to stop the ball, and as clearly outlined in 12B-Section IV of the NBA handbook, that's legal.

as for not leaving the court, and then fighting with Nash and Porter, that's a bit inexcusable...

luckily Stuckey is alright...

Shaq didn't leap. He ran right through Stuckey and caught him around the head. He was clearly going after someone because won't you don't see is Shaq was called for an offensive foul on the previous play and was clearly upset because he was barking at the ref. You don't just run through players when they are in the air. he was looking to foul someone hard.

I watched nearly the whole game, shut it off in the last 5 minutes of the 4th...I saw the previous play...Shaq came off his feet in the directions of the ball...period..he didnt run through anything...with his hands up, he moves in the direction, Stuckey just came much faster than Shaq was anticipating...

He hardly got off the ground and got him near the collar. He wasn't trying to get in front of Stuckey and draw a charge. he was looking to foul someone hard. Period.

whatever holmes...as a fan of neither team, i'm telling you what I saw, both commentators from the pistons and suns say about the same thing, Shaq is just so big and there is no way to prove intent there...You are clearly just wearing your Pistons goggles...not biggie...Stuckey is alive, Shaq will live to see another day...Pistons got stomped...

Look at the replay. You can even freeze the frame at the very point contact was made and see Shaq caught him around the collar. He wasn't going for a shot block. I never seen someone try to block a shot at the shoulders.

Oh, and you didn't watch the Detroit feed because they said Shaq should even be suspended.

that was during the game...that part is said and done..Ronnie Nunn and Stu Jackson will review the foul tomorrow and determine what it was officially...that's how it works...they will decide if it was a flagrant 1 or 2 or even at all, and they will issue the appropriate follow up penalty and fine if necessary...
