***Offical 08/09 NBA thread!***

McDyess would be a great pickup for Cleveland. At this point in their career's, he gives you the same rebounding and defense as Ben Wallace does, and he gives you something offensively. His ability to knock down jumpers will spread out the defense for Lebron.

So far I haven't seen Iverson hog the ball. 9 of 19 shooting last game with 9 assists. I saw more dribble drives out of Hamilton and Prince then I have from Iverson.

So who's gonna give the Lakers their first loss?
idk, looking at the schedule, I will say just because the law of averages kicks in, Phoenix on the 20th will get that game against LA...

followup question, who's going to contain Dwight Howard? 31 points/19 rebounds/10 blocks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif after tonight averaging 25pts/15rbs/4.6blks...it's early in, but wow...

been too busy to care, but it looks like my guys are in BIG trouble. manu and tony out = very bad start.

i do see some promising talent in tolliver, mason, and hill but it may not be developed until next season. we will see...

yea, giving those guys a lot of minutes might help the Spurs once TP and Flop come back...Mason is eating these minutes up, he can chuck all night long and build those stats...hopefully they arent too far below .500 when that happens...never count the Spurs and Pop out...Hill I like a lot...The Magic were trying to work a deal for the Spurs draft pick to take Hill on draft night, but they got cheap...I really liked him and Chalmers as prospects...

hill has the capability of developing into a great guard with a wingspan like tayshaun prince. he's got potential and an all around decent game. tolliver also has some decent range and inside presence, but he does need to bulk up a bit more to fit that bill.

duncan taking a $4M paycut will work for us in the future and the spurs will hopefully make something happen in the next coming seasons, not that i am not happy with 4 rings in 10 years.

Nobody I hope, since I drafted him on my fantasy team :p

I don't know how a guy can be only 22 and that beastly. Well, other than LBJ.

cavs are looking pretty good. its nice to see someone else lead in scoring every once in a while. nice to see him not have to do everything night in night out.

wasnt thrilled when they picked up Mo Williams but looking pretty good at the moment.

We got our answer.

Iverson has yet to lead the Pistons in shots. He seems to be meshing in better. Now they have Prince running the point in the half court and Iverson running the point on the fastbreak. Hamilton seems to be struggling with Iverson but I guess that is to be expected. Hamilton is a rhythm player and hasn't built the chemistry with Iverson yet. That should come with time.

The longer McDyess is a free agent, the better that looks he'll return to Detroit.
