i believe it is 18....but i know a girl that just went down there for February break and she said nobody there ID's you or even really looks at you to try and figure out if your 18. I guess they figure if your old enough for your mom to let you go out to a club or a bar at night then your old enough to drink. I live in Mexico in fact I have lived here for more than 20 years now...

The law is 18 or older to buy alcohol...

If you are 15-16-17 and look 18 or older don't worry.... A fake ID will work anywhere in Mexico...

Just as a TIP please remember to have a 5 dollar bill in your pocket... it wil work wonderfull when you have a cop in your face...

yup that´s true, I´ve been buying beer since I was 15

about the 5 dollar bill thing rigth now is more convenient to have a $10 instead of a $5
