On top of that, today I decided to dust it off and change the oil because it hasn't been changed in forever and discovered that the battery is dead now. I guess that's what happens when it sits for 6+ months with no trickle charger on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Threw the battery charger on it and she fired right up.

I love it because it's very low maintenance.

Okay ban-happy mods, here is my friends Jeep Wagoneer, it was pretty secksay except he bought it off ebay and the engine had to be replaced a month after he had it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

He then sold it and bought a Land Rover Discovery w/ 3inch lift,slider,front and rear bumper, and skid plates galore...

I have a question for all you 4x4 truck people.. I was looking at the specs for my 1989 grand wagoneer..
It has a 5.9 liter (360) V-8

and it has 144 HP?!!

WTF my old Ford focus had a 2 liter and was rated at 140HP?

How can a 5.9 liter that got 11 mpg NEW only have 4 more HP than my fofo that got 40 MPG?!

Compare apples to Apples. Back in the 80s your average 2 liter 4 cylinder was probably making somewhere between 70 and 90 hp. And wouldn't have had anywhere near the low end grunt your 360 has.

i admittedly know nothing about trucks/cars.. i know the jeep drives like a tank and seems powerful. I put 32 bags of concrete in the jeep which weighs almost as much as a focus. Didnt even change the MPG.

So when i read the HP was almost the same i was confused.
