Of these 10" subs, which one is the best?

I've had not great experiences with them but the subs are made by ID so I'm ok with that.

I'm getting 2 19Ov.2's for my HT subwoofers so that should be fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I thought ED made their own stuff? Whose ID?

My suggestion stays the same as all the other nearly duplicate topics you made on CAF. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So it looks like by virtue of subs that either won't work well for my application, or they're just too expensive, it's gonna be the 11Ov.2.

I missed the clearance sale on EDs so now I'm considering the JBL GTO 1014D. The specs on this sub are incredible and for just $85 I don't know if they can be bested.

Yeah, I was making those faces and scratching my head too.

why would u say that??

have you heard that polk sub??

Polk Audio MM1040 are not loud, but they do sound good

I'm looking to stay under $100 per sub and I didn't see anything in a 10" in MB Quartz.

At just $79 the ID REF-TM10.4 looks interesting. Sensititvity is down a bit (86.5 compared to the JBL's 91), but its xmax is a bit higher (17mm compared to the JBL's 14.5).

I'd like to use the sealed enclosure I have now, which is .68 cubes per side. I know the JBL will work with this size (its optimum recommended sealed volume is .75, but small variences in size when dealing with sealed enclosures doesn't greatly affect driver performance). Recommended volume wasn't listed for the ID. If it works well in small sealed enclosures this could be a tough choice.

Both drivers meet my power requirement, both are under $100, and both places that sell them have free shipping. JBL and ID are also both known for making dam good subs. Unless I find out the ID doesn't work well in small sealed enclosures, this is going to be a difficult choice.

There sure isn't much info available about the ID REF-TM10.4. In fact, the only info I've been able to find so far is the little bit of info that woofersetc has on them, and that isn't much.
