Hey guys.

I just bought a new car (Mazda3), and I really like the way the stock HU works with the interior. I've looked into the RF 3Sixty.1 and the JL Cleansweep, but I'm wondering what other options might be out there. The JL doesn't have enough outputs. The 3Sixty will probably be what I get, but I'd like some more info before I drop the cash.

I like JL ..but this one has the Imprint technology with time correction.My neighbour put the Imprint module in his Dakota and made a huge improvement in soundstaging.....sounds waaaay better .

For that price, I'd rather grab a refurbed 3sixty.1

The h650 is a good price and there were good reviews on it. The dql8 from audio control is expensive but probably one of the best oem integration units out right now. The 3sixty.1 is a good alternative at a good price for all it does.

I'm in the same boat as you as Im not willing to part with the oem nav.

I weighed the alternatives and each of the popular items (3sixty, cleansweep, h650/h701) all seem to have significant drawbacks.

In the end, I've decided to go w/ the Audiocontrol DQL-8. And if this wasnt an option, I would most likely use a 3sixty.1 as I'm not going active.

I have the 360.2 in my fiancee's car. Love it, easy to use. Does what it says. Great product. I have read that the JL needs a lot of extra add ons to make it work the way a person wants it. For an all in one great piece of equipment the 360 is great.
