So, I bought this amp off of a forum member 6 months or so ago, and it worked decent for quite awhile. I've been running it to a kicker L7 15" wired to 1 ohm for its whole life. I never really pushed the amp hard.
About a month or two ago it started cutting out, no matter what volume. It either plays the music or it doesn't. I figured bad wiring, but after testing everything, replacing this with that, KNOWING that the stuff I was using worked 100%, I couldn't get it to play normally. The odd thing is when I touch the control area (part that has the crossover/subsonic filter etc), it works. Not just touch it, but push on it a bit. Once I get in my car and move around, it stops working all together again. Sometimes turning a corner will get it to play too. This has gotten much worse to the point it doesn't play 95% of the time. It gives me the green light no matter if it is actually working or not.
My question. Should I just ditch the amp or is there an easy fix I might be over looking? Any help would be great.
