I have a pa3000 im just wondering why the pa1000 and pa2400 all have fuses on the side but the 3000 does not. I even opened it up and sure enough there werent any. Can anyone explain why a higher quality version of the amps contains less than the lower quality? im confused.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

because you are suposed to fuse the power wire comming from the batterie. I have heard the reason some companys don't put fuse is because they would take up to much room on the board for biger powerd amps.

Older amps almost without exception didn't have onboard fuses. You were meant to 1) hook it up correctly 2) not abuse it and 3) fuse the power wire for the amp.

How much current does that amp draw? How many 40A (ATC) or 80A (MAXI) fuses is that? Where are they supposed to fit? Tooling an ANL fuse holder into the end of the amp is not terribly practical (though I have seen a few amps with them).

yeah i have an inline just my amp didnt power up so i thought i would check the fuses. Im pretty sure it's my amp turn on. Thanks for the help guys
