Did not know they released a V2. I bought mine right when they came out so V1s.

I wish more people would give them a shot. Customer service was great too, and I've heard the same thing about obsidianonly.com.
Golf looks sweet too. My buddy has a MK3 he wants to make an amp rack similar to yours to get it out of the way, did you build yours or buy it?

Everything including the box enclosure, installation and amp rack were done by me. I didn't want to mount the amp under the seats or trunk flooring like many folks do with their MK6 GTI's. If the Audison amp was a little bit smaller, I would've mounted it straight level instead of at a slant angle.

Popwarhomie, version 2 subs just came out this past December....the same time mine was shipped.

Damn it! Every time I see this thread pop I think there's one for sale. Was checking out Obsidians and IAD's today and almost pulled the trigger.
