I have two of these subs in my car, but I have the 04 models, the 2000SPL's. Im giving them 400 watts a piece out of 750 that they can take, and they surpassed my expectations when I bought them. If your looking at these for a starter's setup, you wont be disappointed. Just be careful, cuz buying an amp for them can cost a lot.

Actually... they completely changed the cone and the basket, I personally like the new cone better but the old basket better.

Also, they upped the power handling to 1000 watts, so I assume they can get a tiny bit louder than the 2000SPL's, which can handle 750.
