O.k. New one here...remote wire...

O.k. I got ahold of the RCA adapter thing, but now I am left wondering what wire is the remote wire. Cant hook up an amp without one. I dont know if there is a wiring diagram for the headunit or not, or if there is some universal remote wire in all stock headunits. If somone knows of a place that i can get wiring diagrams or if there is a universal, let me know. The car that I am putting it in is a '01 GMC Jimmy.

Usually stock head units do not have "remote" wires. Your best bet is to tie into the ignition, cig lighter, an existing relay, or add on a relay.

Yeah you can pull a wire straight off of the battery with a switch on it to turn it on and off if you want to. Id say cut in to the ignition wire though if you want the easiest route.

Just put the wire in the radio fuse and put the fuse back in there...ghetto set up, but it works.

you need to find an accesory wire for the m amp turn-on lead.
