I bet anyone thats ever been hunting can tell you a story or two about how a deer will walk right under your stand!! in fact, so close that you could fall out of your stand and get kicked to death by it all while trying to slit its throat with your rambo knife!!! Biggest bodied I have killed was 175ish and he was 4 1/2 years old. Have killed a few 3 1/2-4 1/2s in the 165-175 range.

I don't care if they have fawns or not. People just do not realize how out of whack our ratio is in that particular area. Biologist told us to kill the mommas even if the fawns were nursing. lol. I figure the biologist knows something, and I from what I have learned in school hes right on.

what is it like 200people per year die from deer and thousands of deer each year are hit and killed by moving vehicles and most are just thrown out?

so whats so bad about taking 1 or 2 here and there...

lol...i have arrowed a squirrel before with a field tip. expected it to pin him to the ground but he ran off..never found him.

Also shot an armadillo Monday evening because it was making wayyyyy too much racket around me. Shot him with a broadhead and i thought he was going to run off with it. Luckily it fell out before he got to the thicket.

Is there a limit on how many you can take? I could be wrong, but in MI, you need a license for each one?? I dont hunt so I do not know.
