Number 2 down.

:rolleyes:holy hell that deer was this years....and that deer sure weighed 70 lbs, but you will only get 25lbs of meet out of it.Pointless kill. Way to shoot whatever walks in front of you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

This is where both of you are wrong. This is a 1 1/2 year old doe. Right now in my part of the state almost 75% of the fawns still have spots and weigh no more than 45 pounds. At the end of this season these same deer will do good to weigh much more than 60 pounds. This isn't the mid-central US. Our 3.5y/o bucks average about 165lbs. Our 5.5y/o bucks do good to break 200lbs.

On this particular club, one reason 1.5yo does are this small is b/c of an imbalanced buck/doe ratio as stated earlier. We have to shoot so many does each year and then that isn't even enough.

To give you an example of how bad the problem is in this particular area..This morning my dad saw 3 of these 1 1/2 year old does running together, and not a single one of them had a fawn. 1 1/2 year old does should have one fawn with them. Deer normally do not have twins until 2 1/2.

I am a junior in college and going to become a wildlife biologist. Argue with me all you want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i'm not an idiot, just not the avid redneck that you are.

i have no clue about that shit. either way, it's a small deer. no denying that.

BTW, how am i wrong for saying it's the smallest i've seen someone kill? you don't know me like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Just to show you tards.. Here are deer born THIS YEAR. Notice the size and spots? Most will have lost their spots by the end of October and will average about 40-45lbs.

Here is a pic of a prime candidate for a healthy 1.5 y/o doe with her single fawn.

Don't act like you know what your talking about then. And yes, it is a below average sized 1.5 yo doe.

And your not wrong for saying its the smallest you have ever seen killed.

I have killed a 40lber in my younger days.hahaha. Actually I can remember two I have killed that wouldn't weigh much over 40lbs.
