That was the entry wound. It came out right behind the front shoulder. Actually a perfect shot.

1 1/2 year old doe and on this particular place our buck to doe ratio is WAY out of whack. Something like 6:1. With us seeing about 10 does to a buck. Noone around there shoots does and it causes problems with our management style.

On a well managed place, this doe would have had a single fawn...She didn't...More than likely means she didn't get bred..And that shouldn't happen among white tailed does.

holy hell that deer was this years....and that deer sure weighed 70 lbs, but you will only get 25lbs of meet out of it.

nice, same thing up here. in my county everyone got both there doe permits to try and knock the doe population down. out season opens up here on the 18th but i am not gonna get out till the followin weekend.
