alright cool. well i plan on running a crunch GP 3000d to a 15 omega. so 3000 or so watts RMS. so hopefully your goes well with the AB 400

Right now I have one of my 15" Omegas on a 3000D that I dropped in my old sub enclosure and it's taking it like a champ.

I ran 2k to mine daily and they hold up great. I had a saz3000 on one before and it took it like a champ as well. I run 12's though.

i got a kicker l7 12" does the same thing its becase its reaching the xmax and bottoming out i bet

i had an rca that was messed up and causing subs to pop, i sent in two L7's in for warranty because of that and when i put the new ones in it still popped. if i pushed in on the rca connector the popping would stop

Wire it to 4 ohm instead and see what happens. That certain point in the song might create a different load and drop too low for that amp.
