i think i'll go with the seas CA18RNX and the vifa tweets. the only problem is the 3-way xover on my amp, only goes up to 800 hz. that means i would have to high pass the tweets at 800 hz. so how could i fix it to set them at like 2 khz or whatever they should be at?

Next to the mid.

Unless using an extremely high xover point (7khz+), you want the tweeter as close to the mid as possible.

The same way you set your gain at any other Ohm load. The speaker will still be clipping @ 8ohms as if it would at 1 ohm.

Presume it's half of what it does at 4ohm.

sqrt(75*4) = 17.32V

sqrt(150*2) = 17.32V

sqrt(37.5*8) = 17.32V
