A guy dies and goes to heaven. God greets him and says,He only made 2 cd's and hes the best rapper. Yea right.
I could go on forever about your post, but I'll leave it at this.Biggies double LP also sold more than 2Pac's.
PREACH ON BROTHABiggie is wack. The whole badboy camp is wack. Why in the world people want to listen to him. He only made 2 cd's and hes the best rapper. Yea right.
if u knew anything about pac you would know that suge doestnt even own any rights to tupacs unreleased shit only the shit hes releasedWHILE with death row and his mom inherited everything.. HER only... which is why all the CDs u see from pac after his death do not have THA ROW stamped on the bacc.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif biggie sold more than pac while they were alive because biggie was hype.. and thats all he was.. HYPE. when tupac died everyone started to listen to his shit more because of his hype.. anjd his audience discovered tupac was the REAL and biggie was the fake. hence, an increase in pacs sales.... biggie got ownt in the long run... he wouldnt even dare speak on the subject..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Do you have an actual point? That's just semantics. My point was that both of them were wildly successful, and as of the last certifications Life After Death sold more. Not that it matters either way.
Besides, it's expected that 2Pac will sell more now anyways, because Suge and Afeni are wh0ring him out to pad their wallets, keeping his name out there while a lot of people have forgotten about Biggie. These sales aren't indicative of each artists popularity in 95.
biggie doesnt have street rhymes. biggie went to a private school and shared an apartment or something like that with his school buddies. WTF DOES BIGGIE KNOW ABOUT KICKING STREET RHYMES WHEN HE AINT EVEN FROM THE STREETS??? biggie and tupac use to be good buddies.. everyone knows tupac schooled biggie to the game.. tupac will tell you about that in interviews.. and did biggie ever deny that fact? nope. simply put, biggie is a fake rapper.. he didnt even keep it real.. portraying the image of a thug when all he was was a fat guy that had lyrical talent.. thats it.This just makes no sense. There are similarities in subject matter between the two, but as far as style, they were vastly different. 2Pac was more introspective and socially aware, while Biggie just kicked you in the face with street rhymes. Both of them spoke on the same issues, such as the struggles that are derived from poverty, but they did so in different ways. Biggie was a storyteller a la Big L, while 2Pac was a storyteller a la Rakim.
how do u know thats a lie? i couldve swore cheating on your husband is suppose to be a secret...Again, this makes no sense. Yes, 2Pac claimed he taught Biggie everything he knew, but he also claimed he fu*ked Faith, which everyone knows was a lie. 2Pac all but admitted that most of the shit he said regarding Biggie was a ploy.
there were other songs that 2pac wanted to put on MATW but when he heard ready to die he didnt wanna release those songs on MATW because he was afraid people would just compare him to biggie... 2pac wanted his own light to shine in cuz he knew he deserved that light.. cuz he knewif anyone, could represent the streets with DEFINITIE STREET CREDIBILITY, it would be him, tupac shakur. biggie tried to take that image himself.. and he didnt deserve it. thats where tupac is coming from with that biggie is a biter shit... oh yea, and im not saying tupac was out to get that gangster rapper image.. tupac said himself that was not his goal.. his goal was to speak the truth of what he saw on the streets.. and tupac always had an underlying message to get the kids away from the streets. tupac once said one of his goals as a rapper was to educate the new generation.. so that they would make wiser decisions. so many rappers are giving tupac so much props for that. "you use to say that u was never afraid to die/so put a blunt in your casket letcha getcha dead homies high/a true thug that was born to ride/SAY WHAT U SAY WHEN HE PASSED AWAY, THE GAME DIED/it was you against the world i know that shit was crazy/believe me though the whole world wasnt against you baby/you taught sisters to keep they head up and never switch/and if they switched i bet they wonder why u called them bicth/died too soon from unnecessary bullet wounds/now college professors do lectures in their classroom/on your lyricism/dammn pac i wish that you were here so u could hear em/incredible unforgettable, biggie you was true: 'YOURE NOBODY UNTIL SOMEBODY KILLS YOU'" this lyric is from the song SOPHISTICATED THUGS by RAS KASS and its dedicated to 2pac. its very moving and truthful if you ask me. the best dedication to tupac EVER. nuff said with this part..Now this is just ridiculous, 2Pac didn't change anything. As far as street albums, he had been there, done that. Me Against The World was his transition to becoming a real artist; he developed the capability to speak on social topics and culture in a manner that was both raw and eloquent. It was never supposed to be a street album; hell, the first single was Dear Mama. That was a big risk for him to take at the time - that's the sign of someone maturing and growing as an artist, not someone regressing and saying the same old shit over and over again.
like..?The only thing about Biggie that really influenced 2Pac's style was when he got shot in NY. The paranoia he felt that Biggie was responsible for it became an underlying theme in many of his songs post '94.
i bet there arent college campuses that have a course dedicated to biggie's poetry and lyricism... you can bet your candy-*** there are classes that are dedicated to tupacs..Me Against The World went 2x platinum, Ready to Die went 3x platinum. Biggies double LP also sold more than 2Pac's. 2Pac is obviously more successful on an aggregate level, partly because of his early death and the suspicion that surrounded it, and partly because he churned out songs at a fervent rate. If you look at it on a pro rata basis, there were relatively equally successful.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif You've been watching too much 8 Mile, your love-God 2Pac has a much better education than Biggie. He went to the Baltimore School of the Arts and studied ballet, Biggie dropped out of high school at like 16. Get your facts straight idiot.biggie doesnt have street rhymes. biggie went to a private school and shared an apartment or something like that with his school buddies.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif He's from Bed-StuyWTF DOES BIGGIE KNOW ABOUT KICKING STREET RHYMES WHEN HE AINT EVEN FROM THE STREETS???
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif This just makes no sense, like I said before, just because 2Pac said it doesnt mean its true. If you want to look at one of them being fake and the other real, how about this; just about everything 2Pac said about Biggie on wax was a lie or grossly exaggerated, while most of the shit Biggie said about 2Pac was true.biggie and tupac use to be good buddies.. everyone knows tupac schooled biggie to the game.. tupac will tell you about that in interviews.. and did biggie ever deny that fact? nope. simply put, biggie is a fake rapper.. he didnt even keep it real.. portraying the image of a thug when all he was was a fat guy that had lyrical talent.. thats it.
Because 2Pac told everyone it was a lie.how do u know thats a lie? i couldve swore cheating on your husband is suppose to be a secret...
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif This is relevant how? There aren't many classes dedicated to *insert tons of artists names* does that mean they ****?i bet there arent college campuses that have a course dedicated to biggie's poetry and lyricism... you can bet your candy-*** there are classes that are dedicated to tupacs..
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You seriously sound like a 15 year old wigger. You've just admitted that you hate Biggie because you like 2Pac so much, so clearly youre biased in this argument. The only ground you have to stand on in defaming Biggie is your manlove for 2Pac. Your "facts" all stem from shit 2Pac said, and if you actually knew anything about him other than how big his dick is you'd know a lot of the shit wasn't true. It's hard to take you seriously when you have no credibility, and seeing as you were what, 8 years old when Me Against The World dropped just makes it that much funnier. You were eating mayonaise sandwiches and dancing to Teddy Ruxpin, let's not act like you were in the street at the time and knew everything 2Pac was thinking.regardless of the numbers, 2pac ownt biggie. he turned so many of his fans into biggie-haters.. like me. now THAT'S power. as a loyal 2pac fan, im just speaking for the guy cause i know that one of his main objectives was to assassinate the characters of those that needed to be assassinated.. like biggie. notice how so many rappers LOVE tupacs work and what he stands for.. notice how 2pac's closest friends that are rappers are real people from the streets or just real people. tupac didn't fucc with fake people. fake people like biggie smals!! watch biggies documentary.. itll tell u how he was raised in a suburban community, had good grades in private school, and was far from being a gangster. hes like that Clarence guy from 8 mile.. (clarence is the last guy eminem battles in the movie..)
