Hey, i got 2 RF t1 15's and im going to buy an amp tonight. i can either get a Memphis MCD1500 1500rms for 300, or should i just get a hifonics BXi2607D 2600 rms for 300? i mean the hifonics has a ton more power it says but im just not sure because the Memphis sells for 670 on sonics, is it a more quality amp? if someone could give me some advice that would be great =]. heres the specs for the amps

So you need 1200 rms at either 1ohm or 4ohm. Neither of those amps really fit the bill. An MB Quart 1500d would however. Its about 200$ and is better than the Hifonics, and closer to Memphis then some would expect

hm well that sucks, that memphis is real cool looking. So it would be a bad idea to wire to 2 ohm? if its a real bad idea, where can i get one of those MB Quart 1500d's? iv never heard of the brand

some info since you were considering Hifonics...MBQ is from the same parent company as Hifoncs (Maxxsonics), and MBQ is the best line from Maxxsonics

oh well i know the subs are wired 1 ohm already, they were pushed by a rf 1000db before i bought them. so looks like thats what i need to go for is 1 ohm. is 1 ohm good for daily use?

is 1 ohm good for daily use?
Sure. 4ohm would be optimal, but its harder to find that type of power at 4ohm.

However, you are going to need good electrical. I suggest at least quality 4 or 2ga power and ground, as well as Big 3 upgrade (its fairly easy, there is a sticky in the electrical forum)

ah well i have a cap, and i have a extra yellow top battery in my garage i was thinking about hooking up, can you hook up batterys in cars or does it need to be a power cell? an alternator really inst in my budget at the moment, would those 2 work ok for now?
