Not sure how I want to finish my box

Well, now that I like my system I want to make the box look nice. The vehicle is a 2011 f150. Black Vinyl would match the truck but its very $$$$ and im not sure how to go about it. I was told I need 4 way stretch and that seems to only be carried online. The box is a center console so it needs to look nice. The truck has silver accents. Im worried that the box is to wide and tall to wrap.

Any input?

Id YouTube some finished consoles up,and how to to get some ideas.You can wrap just about anything man,provided you have the right sized wrapping.FlexStone is an Old School style that adds looks along with durability also.

yea I have, im worried that a all box console would look dumb. So I need to accent it. Not sure with what...

Ive seen some really nice ones fiberglassed and painted.Look very nice with a little elbow/time invested,for a custom look.There is some information on here on how to do some glassing..I myself have never tried it..Mine would prob turn out like azz Im sure.But,couple times and it may turn out very nice.Ive heard of others using Bondo as well.

check out some fabric websites... you can possibly go with a black shag

You can paint the box with black and gray (or silver) paint with any pattern you want and then spray the entire thing with clear Flex Seal. It provides a durable, textured finish that's similar to bedliner but not as rough a texture.

Rustoleum also has a clear flexible sealer but I don't recommend it because it doesn't dry well.

I just recently seen a center console bbeljefe built and painted in person and that thing looked AMAZING! As long as the color blends with the rest of your interior it should look great.

The product I mentioned will give you a semi flat, textured finish that will be similar to the plastic and vinyl parts in your interior.

As for paint looking weird... it looks nice to me. And I like chocolate ice cream. But you may not like either. ;-)

I didn't mean painting would be bad or sound disrespectful. In my head, im trying to get that cracking/Vinyl look. I think you're saying it can do that?

I get what you're saying and no offense taken bro. We like what we like and it doesn't matter if others don't like it.

But yeah, it would be similar in sheen to vinyl but the texture would be like an orange peel. That's actually a pretty popular finish for speaker boxes these days.

Yea. I don't think id like that. It wouldn't match the rest of the truck.

So got some Black and Silver vinyl yesterday. Still not sure what I wanna do. Its either gonna be top black and bottom silver, or vise versa.
