Not quite understanding what the guy told me.

Ok well, I am building a box for a few Treo subs i have laying around.

I called treo and he was talking too fast for me to comprehend everything so, this is what i got.

For a Treo SSX 12" He said:

2.25 Cubic with a 35 square inch port area with a 18.5 inch deep...port?

he didn't tell me the tuning frequency but I did find a box with 2 of the 3 things he told me.

Would that box be fine for what i want?

and also for a treo ssi 15" he said 2.5 cubic with a 25 square inch port and a 17.5 inch deep...port? again no tuning frequency told, but what box would u recommend here?

The first enclosure would be tuned to about 37hz using two 4" diameter ports.

The second enclosure is tuned to 36hz using two 4" diameter ports.

Oh and the enclosure you linked has 35 square inches of port area, not 25.

yeah you're right about the 1st being 35 square inches, that was what i was looking for, just typed it in wrong

so for the ssx 12 that box would be ok for it or not?

probably a noob question, but what do you mean by 4" diameter port?

the only diameter i know is a circle, but that was in highschool geometry, i'll try to research some more

My 4" diameter I meant two 4" wide round ports. Each of them has a total cross sectional area of about 12.56 inches. That makes a total of about 25 square inches of port area.

I have no idea how the sub will sound in that enclosure though, sorry.
