not much output to sub?

yes i have used the search button. i have a pca2000d going to a 10" type R.

wired at 2 ohm checked with a dmm. have tried the recommendations i've read on the forum but still no good. i thought maybe b/c my head unit only has 2 volt preouts but it says that's not true on the forum. anyone please feel free to throw your 2 cents in about how to get more output. any questions about the system feel free to ask. thanks guys.

You have a setting on your head unit that controls the level of the subwoofer?

yes, but when i play with it nothing changes with the sub. i'm checking the rcas on the back of the head unit tmw

it has to change. those settings(+2,+4 etc.) increase the output voltage on the rca's

read a thread on hear saying basically amps don't need a lot of pre-out, so i don't know. thought i might try it out anyways though.
