My setup just doesnt seem to have as much punch as i thought it should. I could really care less about volume I just want them to HIT really hard. I like to feel the bass in my chest. Maybe i'm just expecting to much from my gear, i know its not real high end but it still should get the job done right?
2000 Mercury Cougar (2DR hatchback coupe)
2 12" Kicker CompVRs aluminized dual 2-ohm
Kenwood KAC-9105D amp 900w rms @ 2 ohms
Sealed box ~1.35cu per chamber
EFX 4 gauge amp wiring kit
Kenwood KAC-448U hu
Subs are wired like:

Head unit settings:
Bass Boost off
Bass EQ set to 0
Low Pass filter set to "Through"
Subwoofer gain never set higher than 0db
Amp settings:
Phase 0*
Low pass filter ~100hz
Infrasonic filter 15hz
Bass boost 12db (@40hz)
Gain ~2/3 up
Gain was set using a DMM to ~42v output from a 0db 50hz test tone
Thoughts?
