here's another question....
1) why did you set the amp to only give 1200w when its a 1500w (underrated) amp? the bl can handle that amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

2) did you use a 0db test tone? if so, try a -6db. ive never had a problem using -6db test tones, setting gains on sub amps.

1. With the seats down it gets plenty loud with 1200w.. I just got the sub not too long ago didnt want to push my luck.

2. I used a 0db tone (50hz to be exact)

Might be the deck like the one guy said. Do you have a LOC or like a cleansweep on it?

All i have hooked up is a high-low converter. I didn't want to invest in a cleansweep because i'm looking at purchasing an aftermarket h/u soon.

your box is way too big for that trunk... all the bass is going straight out the back. how 'bout doing an ib?

In the pictures i just had the box "sitting" in the trunk. Now it's mounted alot farther back in the trunk so the size shouldn't be a problem

Infinite Baffle. You just have a baffle separating the cabin from the trunk. Completely seal the cabin from the trunk. The sub is mounted on the baffle, no enclosure. Not the best for output, but you get really nice SQ and a lot more low-end (provided that you sub is suitable for an IB application).
